If You Know You're Going To Be Missing A Class Alot Try Requesting A Syllabus/Calendar (if you don't already recieve one) So You Can Know When Due Dates Are...What You're Learning Next...& Can Stay On Top Of School Work.

Make A Schedule:
Make A Personal Schedule Where You Can Block Off Time/Due Dates/Appointments. Write It On A Piece Of Paper & Put It On Your Binder. Print It Off. Write It On A Dry Erase Bored. Color Coding Can Help Too!

Get Tutoring:
You May Not Think You Need It But It Can Help & Most Sessions Don't Take An Obsecenely Long Amount Of Time. I Know Some Of My Teachers Offer After School/Lunch Tutoring Sessions/Study Sessions Before Tests. Take Fifteen Minutes Out Of Your Lunch Period To Go And Ask For Instruction & Try Going On Days You Have Off.

This Can Be Done On Occassion & Will Not Take Up More Than An Hour Of Either Of Your Time.

Designate Someone In Classes You Will Miss A Lot Of To Take Notes/Gather Work For You. Someone You Can Call For Class Info. Also, Study Groups With Friends (especially other people on the team) Can Be Beneficial. Make Strict Plans So You Don't Waste Time/Get Off Topic.

On Away Trips Try To Get Some Homework/Assigned Reading Done. You'll Be Thankful For That Two Hour Busride!

It's Not The Most Full Proof Method But It's Free Online & Can Help You Understand Basics In A Short Amount Of Time. Also, Assigned Reading Can Take Up A LOT Of Time...Thank Goodness Spark Note Offers Downloadable Spark Notes For Your Ipod (usually for free)! You Can Also Use Itunes To Search Assigned Reading. Download & Put On Your Ipod/Mp3 Player. You Can Usually Choose By Chapter or The Full Story+Analysis. I Did This With The Book "Great Expectations" & Got A B+ On My Quiz. This is Great For Multi-taskers & On The Road.

Use The Internet To Research Helpful Websites & Tutorials. Most Textbooks Nowadays Have Online E-Books With Comprehension Quizzes. You Can Access These From Your Laptop/Desktop Computer/Ipod Touch/Other.

Don't Waste Weekends:
Try To Do Some Homework On Fridays/Saturdays So You're Not Cramming All Days Sunday. Get At Least Half Done So You Won't Have To Sweat Homework. Study In Little Bits Days Before The Test. Weekends Are Great For Getting Caught Up & Getting Ahead.
